About us
Lotus is a symbol of enlightenment.
The lotus flower rises from the bottom of the reservoir through muddy water to become pure and bright, symbolizing prosperity, purity and spirituality.
Our festival, like this beautiful flower, selects the best new works from around the world in order to bring enlightenment. Our work is aimed at ensuring that the most pure and bright cinema brings real spiritual satisfaction to the viewer.
It's very easy to join us, go to FilmFreeway and send us your work. We are the golden festival on FilmFreeway. There you will find over 60 categories, the opportunity to order a cup and an interview! Our highly qualified jury will be happy to help you present your work to the world!
Our rules
In order to submit a film, you must own the rights or have permission from the owner
Completion Date after January 2017
We accept films of all genres, and lengths
Any Foreign film that is not in English must have English subtitles
Submitting your movie, you authorize LIFF to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills in our social media
A fee is required for the official Competitions Submission. For payment structure visit FilmFreeway. All fees are non-refundable
LIFF winners that will go into yearly program must send copy of the film without subtitles and .srt. file with English subtitles within 2 weeks from official announcement

Awards & Prize
All our Official Selection films will receive the Official Laurel and will be screened at our 7-Day Annual Live Event. Winning films will receive their Certificate of Achievement.
In addition, every 2 months we will choose selection of outstanding projects as semi-finalists who will be invited to participate in our Virtual Event. All semifinalist films will receive their corresponding Laurel.
